Kona and her sisters arrived at animal control as semi-ferals who clearly had not had much human interaction.   After 3 months with no interest,  they were scheduled to be euthanized.   We felt they deserved a chance,  so I brought them to my place to foster them and try to get them trained enough to be adopted.  
 

Kona was the least socialized of the 3 and has been with me the longest.   She is funny and quirky, but in a super lovable way!  She is not needy at all and is completely content to lay on her bed in our dog room.   Kona is crate trained and house trained,  although you do have to be sure to recognize her cues!  When she gets excited,  she barks to tell you all about it.   She LOVES coming out with us to feed the horses - it's her favorite time of day.   She is very responsive and good on lead.   Kona is great with other dogs and would most likely feel more comfortable with a dog sibling,  as she is still working on her confidence.  She is also wonderful with cats (and kittens) and she shows no aggression.   She enjoys being pet but kisses scare her.
 

Kona is between 3 and 4 years old and is fully vetted.   She is UTD on shots,  and is on flea and heartworm preventative.
