Enzo is such a sweet and goofy boy. He is extremely smart and very treat motivated.
Enzo is very curious and needs to check out everything. His foster has seen him stop playing in the yard to watch airplanes flying overhead. Enzo loves peanut butter, chew toys, and once he trusts you he is happy to sit in your lap and get belly rubs. No one ever told him he isn't a lap dog.
We believe Enzo had a rough start and unfortunately he can't tell us what exactly he has been through. Enzo panics when he thinks he is in trouble or when someone grabs his collar. He will mouth your hands when scared or frustrated but once you gain his trust, this isn't an issue. Talking calmly and soothingly to him will calm him down. Also he knows "place" and if he starts getting worked up sending him to his "place" (dog bed), helps calm him.
Enzo would do great in a calm home where he is walked frequently. He would do best with older children because sometimes he forgets that he is not a five pound dog. He would do better with larger, calm, laid back dogs so that he won't become over stimulated or even a family with no other dogs.

Many of our adoptable pets attend adoption events each Saturday at Mall of Georgia Petsmart in Buford, Georgia from 11:30-3:00 pm Please check with us to find out if a particular pet will be available.
