Ladybug" is a four year old German Shepherd. She is not well-bred or classically conformed She is petite at 50-55 pounds and is spayed, up to date on DHPP and heartworm prevention and will be due for a heartworm test and rabies vaccine in 2008. She is also microchipped through HomeAgain. She is crate trained, comfortable walking on leash, and knows basic obedience commands like 'sit' and 'off.' She has a sweet, but reserved personality and bonds strongly to one or two people in the household. Bug was adopted from a rural area where she was kept outdoors most of the time, but since she was rescued she has learned how to play with toys and how to enjoy life's comforts! She makes 'wookie' noises when she is comfortable (groans, grunts, sighs) and likes to lie on her back on the sofa, utterly upside-down. Bug is good with other dogs and has lived with cats, although she is very interested in them and should be supervised with them or crated if her owner is not home and there are cats present. She is a sweet, soft girl, very elegant but occasionally silly! Bug is low-key, doesn't like noise or commotion, and once she has her daily 'silly' spurt of activity in the yard is just ready to cuddle. She has had hip surgery so as she gets older, there is a good chance of arthritis. For a pre-adoption application please e-mail a request to the e-mail address at the bottom. PAC adoption days are held every Saturday from 11:30AM to 3:30PM at PetSmart in Buford (across from the Mall of Georgia).

We do not have a shelter facility and our pets are housed in foster homes, vet clinics and local boarding facilities.

Many of our adoptable pets attend adoption events each Saturday at Mall of Georgia Petsmart in Buford, Georgia from 11:30-3:00 pm

Please check with us to find out if a particular pet will be available. Dogs going to adoption event are typically posted on our Facebook page the day prior.
